I want to develop my English writing so I need all of you to correct my mistakes in the article that I post.
I thank all of you before .
Geography is an important subject among all subjects in school, because It has several functions that children are able to educate for building their capacities in a globalized world such as, natural, develop knowledge of places, understand of maps, encounter different society and social and develop their intellectual skill as well.

Geography is an important subject among all subjects in (pas la bonne préposition)school, because It has several functions that children are able to educate (mettre un autre verbe)for building (for + verbe + -ing: pour avoir...) their capacities in a globalized world such as, natural , develop (mettre au gérondif)(article)knowledge of places, understand (gérondif)of maps, encounter (gérondif) different society (pluriel)and (enlever and)social and develop (gérondif)their intellectual skill (pluriel)as well.

Geography is an important subject among all subjects at school, because it has several functions that children are able to study for having their capacities in a globalized world such as, natural of planet earth, developing knowledge of places, understanding of maps, encountering different societies and developing intellectual skills as well.
