Here is my work:
1- A particular quality of a person's character. (r t t) 2 trait = trait, caractéristique.
2- Waste matter (carried away in sewers). (g s w) 3 sewage = eaux usées.
3- Having fine manners. (r l c t) 3 courtly = élégant, courtois raffiné. (j'adore!)
4- A similarity or resemblance. (n k s l s) 3 likeness = ressemblance.
5- A barrier put across a road (by the police) in order to stop or slow down traffic. ( b r k d c l) 3 roadblock = barrage de police, obstacle.
6- To join (pieces of metal) by pressure, often using heat, electricity etc. (l w d) 1 weld = soudure.
7- Unwanted or worthless articles; rubbish. (n j k) 1 junk = bazar, camelote, pacotille...
8- To become no longer visible, especially suddenly. (n h v s) 2 vanish = disparaître, se volatiliser.
9- A deep, open cut or wound. (s h g) 1 gash = entaille, balafre, estafilade...
10- The crime of setting fire to (a building etc) on purpose. (r n s) 2 arson = incendie involontaire, incendie criminel.
