The number of vowels is still given.

Here is my work:

1- The amount of slope, (road, railway etc). (d n g t r) 3 gradient = déclinaison, pente.
2- To walk or stroll about without much purpose or hurry. (n s r t) 3 saunter = flâner, balader.
3- Willing to comply. (n p c m t l) 3 compliant = docile, conforme, accomodant.
4- A small printed notice. (b l h n l d) 2 handbill = prospectus.
5- A synonym of "worthless". (s t h r) 2 trashy = de pacotille, mauvais, nul lamentable.
6- A person who sells fish. (m f r h n s g) 3 fishmonger = poissonnier.
7- Thoughtful and rather sad, as if longing for something with little hope. (f s w l t) 2 wistful = pensif, mélancolique.
8- To rush about madly, attacking everybody and everything. (k m) 2 amok = déchaîné, faisant rage.
9- To repair or fit new parts to (a ship). (f r t) 2 refit = caréner.
10- To mix or throw together without order. (m l j b) 2 jumble = méli mélo.
