Hi everybody!
Here is my work:
1- To make (a groove or hole) with a tool.(g g) 3 gouge. = gouger.
2- Clever especially in a sly or dishonest way; smart.(c l k s) 1 slick = mielleux. BERK !
3- To swallow food etc quickly.(b g l b) gobble = engloutir.
4- Too much pride in oneself.(n c c t) 3 conceit = vanité.
5- Without reason; motiveless.(n w t n) 2 wanton = injustifié, acte gratuit.
6- A synonym of "angry". (t r) irate = furieux.
7- A weak person who is dominated by someone else, or who is the loser in a struggle. (g d n r d) 3 underdog = outsider.
8- A stand for holding a book etc to be read from, especially for a lecture or in a church.(c n l r t) 2 lectern = pupitre.
9- To beat again and again with the fists.(m l p m) 2 pummel = tabasser, rouer de coups.
10- To stop or hinder (someone) from doing something. (w t h t r) 1 thwart = déjouer, contrecarrer, contrarier.
