Hi!Could you correct my text please? Thank you for your help...

 The company was first founded in Germany in 1924 by two brothers, Adolf and Rudolf Dassler.

 Their shoes, first named DASSLER SHOES became popular thanks to sponsored athletes in the Olympics.

 However, there was a separation of the two brothers' interest in the 1940s and Adolf kept the leadership of the company. Then, Rudolf created the PUMA company.

 Because of that event, Adidas was registered as a company named after its founder in august 1949: Adi from Adolf and Das from Dassler.

 In 1954 happened the Miracle of Bern. Effectively, Germany battle Hungary with a competitive advantage. They were wearing Adidas soccer boots which for the first time feature removable studs.

 During the 60's, that company started to manufacture equipment for what some consider fringe sports because they wanted to help every athletes to get their maximum.

 In 1968, the company entered the U.S. market.

 The popularity of Adidas became undisputed when during the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, every game official and almost every of the 1,490 international athletes wore Adidas.

 In 1978, Adi Dassler died and his wife, his son and his daughter started running the business.

 That big transition was completed in 1990 when Adidas passed from a manufacturing and sales based company from a marketing one because of Robert Louis-Dreyfus.

 In 1996, 6,000 sponsored Olympic athletes from 33 countries win 220 medals including 70 gold (apparel sales increase 50%).

 In 1997, Adidas acquired the Salomon group with the brands Salomon, TaylorMade, Mavic and Bonfire. We could observe the effects of the acquisition of the Salomon company in 1999: it's skates take off high double-digit growth.

 The year 2000 contributed to the success of the company because of the European Soccer Championship EURO 2000 and the Olympics Summer Games.

 In October 2005, the Salomon group was sold to Amer Sport because the new Adidas group wanted to focus even more on the athletic footwear as well as the growing of its golf category.
 Finally, Adidas bought Reebook in 2006, what marks a new chapter in the history of the company. Adidas is now the world's number two sport apparel manufacturer and it wants to become the first.

    Hi!

I give some tips for the correction

    - Because of that event, Adidas was registered as a company named after its founder in august (capital letter on the month, just a tiny detail)
1949: Adi from Adolf and Das from Dassler.

-In 1954 happened ( you cannot reverse the verb and the subject like, we do in French) the Miracle of Bern. Effectively, Germany battle ( verb is missing, this one isn't correct) Hungary with a competitive advantage. They were wearing Adidas soccer boots which for the first time feature removable studs.

-During the 60's, that company started to manufacture equipment for what some consider fringe sports because they wanted to help every athletes (no plural form after 'every') to get their maximum.

-The popularity of Adidas became undisputed when during the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, every game official (position of the adjective) and almost every (every wouldn't work here) of the 1,490 international athletes wore Adidas.

-That big transition was completed in 1990 when Adidas passed from a manufacturing and sales based company from (this preposition isn't correct, from Source to Destination) a marketing one because of Robert Louis-Dreyfus.

-In 1997, Adidas acquired the Salomon group with the brands Salomon, TaylorMade, Mavic and Bonfire. We could observe the effects of the acquisition of the Salomon company in 1999: it's skates take (verbal form to correct)off high double-digit growth.

    - Finally, Adidas bought Reebook in 2006, what (What isn't working here) marks a new chapter in the history of the company. Adidas is now the world's number two sport apparel manufacturer and it wants to become the first.

    Small details indeed!

    Regards

    sebastien

This is the second part of my text that I wrote today. Could you correct it please? Thank you in advance for your help!

 The two brothers introduced a lot of innovations in the athletic footwear industry. For example, they were the first ones to have introduced the arch support in athletic shoes. They were also the first ones who gave athletes free shoes in return for advertising their products. The three stripes take part of those innovations: they were actually made to keep the feet stable but today they are more considered as a fashion design that anything else.

 With its slogan, Impossible is nothing, the company wants to sponsored athletes and teams because the role of Adidas is to improve their performance. Every year, Adidas wants to get at least one major technology or technological evolution like ForMotion and Bounce running shoes which were developed during the few last years.

 Some of the actual highlight athletes sponsored by Adidas are David Beckham, Justine Henin-Hardenne, Sergio Garcia, Kevin Garnett, Zinedine Zidane and Maurice Greene. The company focuses its sponsoring on tennis, basketball, running, golf and football (soccer) athletes (because its main product is shoe, so they can't sponsored swimming for example).

 The 3 striped Adidas logo was created by Adi Dassler and was first used in 1967. The shape of 3 stripes on the Adidas Logo represents mountain that the athletes have to climb to reach the top of their performance, their respective goal. However, there is also another one, the Adidas Trefoil Logo, which was first used in 1972. The logo incorporated 3 shapes to look like a diamond. The two arcs that extended upwards represented the arms of the winner, raised after victory.
