Hello,
It is important to put 'than' after the comparatives.
Example:-Ahmed is greater than his brother.
Can we find 'greater' without 'than' in other sentence.

When the two elements compared are mentioned, then you have to use "Than".
If only one is mentioned(as the other one is obvious or has already been mentioned), then you don't have to use "than."
Example:
"English and Spanish are usually chosen by pupils at school. English is probably more difficult than Spanish but it is more useful in Global Economy."
