Ought not to or ought not

Hi everybody.:
I searched on the web and found that *ought to* loses the *to* in the negative form, instead of ought not to , we say ought not.

on this site : anglais facile, I found that ought to in negative form is: ought not to.
Help me please.

You ought not to worry = you oughtn't to worry.

This verb is a little ugly to pronounce, I suppose it would be more common to say:
You should not worry, you shouldn't worry.

Anyway the "to" doesn't disappear when "ought" is in the negative.

compare:

Did you have to work ? Yes, I had to // No, I didn't have to.
Ought you to work ? Yes, I ought to // No, I ought not to !( but again , it is not very common and rather old-fashioned to my mind)
Should you work ? Yes, I should // No, I shouldn't is much more common.
