boujour à tous,
j'ai un devoir à faire pour demain en anglais : faire un dialogue sur deux amis qui se rencontrent et qui étaient au festival de Woodstock- et j'aurais besoin d'aide pour la synthaxe des phases ,
1- "James, is it really you? said a man who had roughly the same age as Jame" : en fait c'est pour dire "james c'est vraiment toi? dit un home qui avait à peu près le mm âge que James.
2- it has been a long time since i saw you " : ca fait longtemps que l'on ne s'est pas vu.
3- "we stayed away from each other about 30 years"
4- "do you remember at least the festival" : te rappelles tu au moins du festival
5- "it is as il it had been a dream: c'est comme si cela avait été un rêve
6- "you could fell it (the atmosphere) for miles and miles
7- "so much positive energy at woodstock place"
8- there are really lots of people
9- "he was almost into trance
10- "to me, the best deliveery was that of Jimi hendrix. at the beginning, we were hard to follow him. and he got carried away.

Bonjour,
"James, is it really you? said a man who had roughly the same age as James" : cf I am the same age as him, John and Jim are the same age: changer le verbe.
2- it has been a long time since I (last) saw you " : peut convenir. une expression semblable serait: I haven't seen you for ages !! cela fait un bail qu'on ne s'est pas vus.
3- "we stayed away from each other for(pendant) about 30 years" : semble dire que vous êtes volontairement restés éloignés l'un de l'autre. "We haven't met for 30 years" signifierait: on ne s'est pas vus depuis 30 ans. (for signifiera depuis avec un présent perfect mais pendant avec un prétérit)
4- "Do you remember at least the festival" : te rappelles tu au moins du festival? at least parait bizarre: 1) il serait mieux en fin de phrase. 2)il signifie "au minimum" 3) je dirais: Do you still remember the festival after all these years ?
5- "it is as il (if) it had been a dream: c'est comme si cela avait été un rêve
6- "you could fell(orthographe) it (the atmosphere) for miles and miles
7- "so much positive energy at woodstock place"
8- there are really lots of people
9- "he was almost into a trance
10- "to me, the best deliveery(performance)was that of Jimi Hendrix. at the beginning, we were hard to follow him. and he got carried away. Dans quel sens ? It was hard to follow him, we found it hard to follow him,?

10-we were hard to follow him: dans le sens "nous avions du mal à le suivre" mais je pense que la traduction"It was hard to follow him "ou "we found it hard to follow him" est mieux.
Je vous remercie pour les corrections que vous m'avez apporté.

9- "he was almost into a trance HE WAS ALMOST IN A TRANCE
10- "to me, the best deliveery(performance)was that of Jimi Hendrix. at the beginning, we were hard to follow him. and he got carried away. Dans quel sens ?
