Bonjour,

je voudrais savoir s'il vous plaît si will be given est correct dans la phrase
The punishment will be given in order to ...
ou si on dit
The punishment would be given in order to ...
ou si les deux sont corrects.

Either could be used. Generally when you use would, it's more tentative, and will is more certain.
So, as it has often been said, it depends on the context.

I don't like to give translations, but in this case you might ask yourself what the difference in French would be between:
La punition SERA donnée afin de...
La punition SERAIT donnée afin de...
