our teacher asked us to rewrite a fable of our choice in English version; so here's my version, and please tell me if there is any mistake.
Thanks for your answers.
"Once upon a time, there was a knight who was as bold as an egg. as he was so shy to walk with his bold hair, he decided to put on a beautiful black curly wig. One day, some lords and ladies invited him to go hunting with them. However, as he was riding his horse in the forest, his wig caught on a branch and fell in the view of everyone! they began laughing, the knight felt stupid and foolish, but at last he laughed with them, he just took it easy!"

Hello,
I used to learn: "Charles the bold was bald": Charles le Téméraire était chauve.
our teacher asked us to rewrite a fable of our choice in english version; so here's my version, and please tell me if there is any mistake.
"Once upon a time, there was * knight who was as bold as an egg. as he was shame to walk with his bold hair, he decided to put on an beautiful black curly wig. One day, some lords and ladies invited him to go hunt(gérondif) with them. However, as he was riding his horse in the forest, his wig caught on a branch and fell in the view of (maladroit)everyone! they began (started)laughing, the knight felt himself(en trop) stupid and foolish, but at last (mauvais choix pour "pour finir", "finir par")he laughed with them, he just took it easy!"

Bonjour,
Once upon a time, there was a knight who was as bald as an egg. as he was so shy to walk with his bold head, he decided to put on a beautiful black curly wig. One day, some lords and ladies invited him to go hunting with them. However, as he was riding his horse in the forest, his wig caught on a branch and fell in the view of everyone! they began laughing, the knight felt stupid and foolish, but finally he laughed with them, he just took it easy!"
Thanks!

Hello gerondif...
bonne question, à moins que nina96 n'aime pas écrire correctement ou qu'on la corrige...Je pense que cela ne se reproduira pas.

Hello,
It's much better now, but...
Once upon a time, there was a knight who was as bald as an egg. as he was so shy to walk with his bold head, he decided to put on a beautiful black curly wig. One day, some lords and ladies invited him to go hunting with them. HoweverUnfortunately, as he was riding his horse in the forest, his wig caught on a branch and fell in the view of everyone! they began laughing, the knight felt stupid and foolish, but finally he laughed with them, he just took it easy!"
Hope this helps.

nina96,
