    Expression Orale/ Bac
    Message de dydo35 posté le 29-04-2013 à 15:45:03 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour,

Je passe l'oral du Bac après les vacances et j'aimerais avoir une correction et/ou des commentaires (si besoin bien sûr ) sur la notion : Lieux et formes du pouvoir.
    Merci d'avance.

"I am going to talk about the notion of places and forms of power.
First of all I would like to give a definition of power. There are many ways to exercise the power. The most obvious were the one of the official political leader of a State, such as a president, a Prime Minister, a king or an emperor. But the political powers are not limited to the heads of state or to the leaders. The extent of a power also confronts in the social influence which a person or a group can have.

In the first, I go you speak about places of power.
There are firstly the symbolic buildings which represent the power. The White House and the Oval Office are the symbols of the power in the United States. These places also exist in England with Buckingham Palace, in France with the “Élysée” Palace...
Places of the power are not only buildings but can be also the media. A speech of the president on the television is an example. Finally there are the new technologies where the power is exercised. For example on the social networks.

Then, I go talk about forms of the power.
First of all, there are different ways of exercised a power. Democratically as it's the case in the United States. We saw in class that the United States was a country where those who wished it could become candidate under certain conditions (having at least thirty-five years, be has natural born U.S. citizen and be a U.S. resident for over fourteen years). We also studied that the United States are composed of several institutions. For example, FBI represents the protection and that Supreme Court is the judicial institution. The democracy is not installed in all the countries. North Korea is an example of a totalitarian regime. "

    Hello,

"I am going to talk about the notion of places and forms of power.
If you are going to start with the definition of power, and then follow with places, this must be restated as "talk about the forms and places of power"
First of all_ I would like to give a definition of power. ______ (where is the definition?) There are many ways to exercise the power. The most obvious [were the one]of the official political leader of a State, such as a president, a Prime Minister, a king or an emperor.
This needs to be rephrased completely, plurals need to be followed by plurals, past tenses point to specific events that have already happened in history, not to vague examples, use the present tense here. But the political powers there is no specific examples, thus omit "the" are not limited to the heads of state or to the leaders. The extent of a power also confronts in the social influence which a person or a group can have.
Ok, I'm going to rest on that for now, revise this one and we can move to the next !
    Bon courage !
