Quelqu'un aurait-il le temps d'y jeter un coup d' oeil? Ça me soulagerait vraiment beaucoup.
Merci de votre attention,
Voici la lettre :
Dear Sir or Dear Madam,
Currently enrolled as a second year student in the Philosophy Department at University of xxx 1, I am particulary interested by the prospect to continue my studies at the University College of Cork next year (2015-2016).
I have many incentives to go to Cork. At first, I have an interest to reading philosophy in english. Many things happen in contemporary philosophy, and many things happen in english. A common practice of the language and the philosophical vocabulary, would be favorable to my future studies. The reading of authors like Thomas Hobbes, John Locke or John Rawls, in original version, is a necessity for postgraduates studies. I have seen also that you offer courses about Asian philosophy, Frederich Nietzsche, Arthur Schopenhauer, and about Aestethics. I have a personal interest since a long time about those themes, those I can't found in Rennes 1, and I would be realy glad to assist at those courses, among others. I think there's chances that it influence the choice of my future philosophy studies.
It is significant to underline that I would realy like to have the experience of an immersion in a foreign country, and discover a new culture, new lands and new people. A good way to reach self-confidence. Furthermore, English is a language that I profondly plan to work for several reasons, the bilingualism being an ideal which I would like to catch.
To Conclude, in an other way, I have a double interest to learn English language. Musician by passion, I have some reals ambitions in music, and I would like to study in a music school, concurrently, or after my philosophy studies. Guitar player and singer, I hope a day I will sing in an audible english and be able to write the lyrics that I want. Then, go to Cork could be a great opportunity to know more about Irish music.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Sincerely,
-------------------
