    LV2/Mythes et héros
    Message de gymgym posté le 15-03-2015 à 17:09:01 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour ,

i will speak about the notion of myths and heroes , myths and heroes have an important influence on the collective and personal identity .they shape the tradition and history of many countries and the heroes still dominate the lives of many people
my problematic is :why are myths and heroes still important today ?

first of all , i would like to give a definition of myths and heroes
then we will see that heroes and myths are a model of achievement for society

a myth is a story that can be true or imaginary . these stories have great symbolic power , and this may be a major reason why they survive as long as they do , sometimes for thousands of years
To illustrate this I have chosen one document on maryline monroe :
"Happy birthday to you Mister President" ... It was May 19, 1962, the anniversary of US President John F. Kennedy. A moment that is now part of the history of the United States. Marilyn Monroe, mistress of the head of state, shocks and fascinates America with these few words. she is divorced, actress, sex symbol, and died there 50 years. But the myth of the woman who was still sleeping naked and perfumed before going to bed continues still today.Marilyn fascinates because she has several myths: "The American myth of the meteoric success of the little girl in Los Angeles, which became the most famous woman in the world .the myth of America as Kennedy who was dreaming, and fascinates people, including the new generation.
a heros is a person who is admired for their courage , outstanding achievements, or noble qualities . it can be imaginaire for example superman and it can be real for example :
To illustrate this I have chosen one document on rosa park :
Rosa Parks is a black woman who was arrested by the police because she refused to give up her seat to a white person at time when buses were segregated. The outcome of this incident was to change history. Rosa Parks' act of defiance became an important symbol of the modern Civil Rights Movement and Rosa Parks became an international heroes of resistance to racial segregation.
the hero is a role model for humankind
each community needs its heroes and myths. they can affect our lives positively . motivate young people to fight for their dreams .the world is not right , there is a lot of injustice .there is a gap between the world as it is and the world as it should be . we need myths , to find rational reasons or something to give an identity so that life has meaning.and the heroes show that it possible to improve the world . they build confidence , give hope . it is important to get people to dream to open the way of the future .

in conclusion , society needs myths and heroes, because they have influence positive on people. and the heroes are good way to set goals in life and to have an example to follow when we are lost .
