Bonjour

Merci d'avance !
INTRODUCTION/
I'm going to talk about the notions of seats and forms of power. The power is the ability to exercise a control on somebody, but leads generally to conflict between those who have power and those who don't.
What are influence of the media and big personality in the politics ?
To answer this question, we are going to base ourselves on two famous examples, in which these last one had an important place :
the influence of media in Dreyfus affair and the influence of Martin Lutter King in the politics.
I- The influence of media in Dreyfus affair :
We call the press the 4th power, three first one being the legislative, executive, and judicial power. And can be a lobby against political misconducts :
The Dreyfus affair took place from 1894 till 1906. She has for origin a miscarriage of justice on the background of espionage and of anti-Semitism. Certain general and Secretary one fear for their cariere, he needs a culprit. The victim is Alfred Dreyfus, a Jew of Alsatian origin, accused of having revealed the information and the secret documents to the Germans, the ideal traitor. He(it) is then arrested after a fast interrogation. It is once the affair shaded off that the media intervene notament with big writer as emile zola who will write in front page of the newspaper Aurore a letter to the president of the Republic in which he denounced anti-Semitism of the army and acknowledge the staff to have Dreyfus without proof, that brought up the high speed Forgot Dreyfus case and was acquitted.
II- the influence of Martin Lutter King in the politics
Martin Luther King, a black american pastor, stand up for black conditions and hope one day all people, black and white will be equal. Consequently for the 100th anniversary of abolition of slavery, he maked his famous speech « I have a dream » in front of more than 200 000 people to demand civil rights for african americans. It happended in Washington, which represent the politic power, next to the Lincoln Memorial. So we can deduce that the president was agree with King.
King was able to mobilize countless people from across the political, racial, and religious spectrum to his cause. He always knew he must be accepting to be accepted. For this reason, King never endorsed or supported any political party or politician.
The president, John F. Kennedy, supported publicly Martin Luther King, in the fight(wrestling) against the racial segregation in the United States, most of these rights will be promoted by the "Civilian Rights Act" and "Voting Rights Act" under Lyndon's presidency(chair) B. Johnson.
Without this influence which it had on the kennedy president, can be no law shall have been made
CONCLUSION/
The role of the journalist is to make links between the facts which he brings back and the societal context. The journalist holds thus not at all the truth. He is only interpreting a reality, that he perceives and directs in his own way. Moreover, as you already know, the current event in itself is made most of the time, influenced by professionals.
The general public, him, includes the information which we are of use to him on a tray as the inescapable, indisputable truth. For him, the influence of the media is such as he does not try to discuss the foundation of the assertions read, settled or seen on a screen.
The invention of Internet allowed to abolish the borders of States and to spread the information without constraints, it is thus rather a progress in the field of the freedom of expression. However no control is made, The vigilance and the training of the Internet users is thus here the only rampart against the disinformation.
